Plastic Waste Management Forum 2025

Our Scientific Director, Coralie Jehanno, was invited to participate in the Plastic Waste Management Forum organised by the UPV/EHU, Universiteit Gent, and Maastricht University in San Sebastian.

As an invited young scientist, she was in charge of delivering an introductory talk and leading the discussions on a fascinating, yet controversial topic: « How can we face the incompatibility of consumerism with sustainability efforts? » The debates were intense on the appropriate legislation to lead, the restrictions that could reasonably be implemented, and the relative roles of governments, academia, and industry in these aspects.
