High Performance Chemistry with POLYKEY and P2 Science

Last month, we were thrilled to host Oihana Elizalde, CEO of P2 Science, for a tour of our lab and a detailed introduction to our company. The visit provided an exceptional opportunity to explore topics such as sustainability, green chemistry, and material chemistry, all essential drivers for a more sustainable and responsible future.

For our leadership team, Andere Basterretxea Gorostiza (CEO) and Coralie Jehanno (CSO), the meeting was also a valuable moment to connect over business strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship with an inspiring female leader. The discussions highlighted the importance of shared vision and expertise in high performance chemistry to create innovative solutions in the chemical and cosmetic industries.

P2 Science, a spin-off of Yale University, develops new types of chemistry and processes to create advanced, clean ingredient solutions, particularly for the cosmetics sector. Founded in 2012 by Paul Anastas and Patrick Foley, the company translates the 12 principles of Green Chemistry into practical, scalable manufacturing processes. POLYKEY shares this commitment to sustainable high performance chemistry, driving sustainable innovation in materials science. 🌱🌿

The visit also opened discussions about a possible collaboration between POLYKEY and P2 Science, exploring opportunities to combine expertise in sustainable manufacturing, innovative chemical processes, and high-quality materials. By applying the principles of Green chemistry to the development of processes and products, both companies aim to develop solutions that are not only effective but also environmentally responsible.

We are excited about the potential for joint projects and knowledge sharing. This meeting reinforced the importance of partnerships built on trust, values, and a commitment to excellence in high performance chemistry.

Thank you, Oihana, for visiting our lab! We believe this initial meeting marks the start of a fruitful and transformative collaboration between POLYKEY and P2 Science, with the potential to positively impact the industry.
