Advancing Polymer Recycling at DIM MaTerRE Paris

Last week, POLYKEY participated in the workshop “Polymer recycling and upcycling: What levers for effective material circularity?”, organised by DIM MaTerRE at the prestigious École normale supérieure in Paris.

The objective of the event was to explore innovative strategies for polymer recycling and upcycling, at a time when the transition toward a circular materials economy has become both a scientific and industrial priority.

Key challenges addressed during the workshop included:

  • Advancing recycling and upcycling technologies for polymers
  • Bridging the gap between fundamental research and industrial implementation
  • Enabling effective material circularity
  • Accelerating the transition to a circular materials economy

POLYKEY’s Scientific Director, Coralie Jehanno, was invited to present the company’s journey from lab to market, sharing insights into its polyester recycling technology and the key levers required to translate innovation into real industrial impact.

We would like to sincerely thank Benoit Couturaud for the invitation, as well as all organisers for creating such a high-value platform for discussion and collaboration.

Participating in initiatives like this reinforces POLYKEY’s commitment to advancing polymer recycling technologies and contributing to a more sustainable and circular materials economy.
